So yes, It's Singapore's 45 birthday. But I've a question in mind. Pardon my stupidity, but why is Singapore only 45? The years after it's independence? Ohh O_O so If I was born around 50years earlier, I would be one of the victim in World War II?

Hmm. Oh! So, no wonder my grandfather experience the Japan occupation -_-" Roughly guess his age. 64+...
